On Trendyol two clocks run against a seller: a return that reaches your warehouse is accepted automatically after 48 hours, and a customer question closes after 3 business days without an answer. With your store connected to ChatGPT or Claude you see both queues, find out which products come back and why, and work through them from the chat, one confirmed action at a time.
How to connect Trendyol to ChatGPT or Claude
A return that reaches your warehouse on Trendyol waits for your decision for 48 hours. After that the system accepts it on its own, whether the shoes came back worn or not. A customer question gives you 3 business days before it closes unanswered. Both queues live in the seller panel. Link the store to ChatGPT or Claude and you can watch them from a chat window instead. We found no official Trendyol connector in the ChatGPT or Claude catalogs on 23 October 2026.
- Make sure APIUniCon is switched on in ChatGPT or Claude. New to it? The setup guide covers adding it.
- Send the AI “Connect my Trendyol store”. If it asks for developer pages, start it on Trendyol’s integration overview.
- Find your keys. Trendyol’s authorization page says where they are: sign in to the seller panel as the master user and open “Entegrasyon Bilgileri” (integration information) under “Hesap Bilgilerim” (account information). Copy three values from there: the seller ID, the API Key and the API Secret.
- Paste all three on our page, which the AI links to. The keys stay out of the chat, and we store them encrypted.
- Let the AI make a test request. It will tell you what it can read: returns, questions, orders and products.
Plans are on the Pricing page.
What to ask about returns and questions
Questions that work well, in the words you’d use with your team:
- Which returns are waiting for my decision, and how many hours are left on each before Trendyol accepts it?
- Which products had the most returns in the last 30 days, and what were the reasons?
- What is the return rate for each SKU this month, units returned against units sold?
- For the Runner sneakers, how many returns say “size too small” and how many “size too big”, by size?
- Which returns did customers mark as defective or as the wrong item sent?
- Which customer questions are still waiting for an answer, oldest first?
- Which products get the most questions, and what do people keep asking?
- Draft answers to today’s open questions about the linen shirt.
Cases with two clocks running
The 48-hour queue
Say it’s Monday morning in a made-up sneaker and accessories store, with a stack of return parcels on the shelf. The question: “Which returns are waiting for my decision, and how long is left on each?” The AI takes the returns in Trendyol’s waiting status, reads the reason and note on every item and checks when each one reached you, so it can count the hours left.
9 returns are waiting. 6 are Runner sneakers sent back as too small or too big; the notes say unworn. 2 are marked as defective, both the canvas tote. 1 says the wrong colour was sent. The oldest reached you 39 hours ago, so it has 9 hours left: it’s one of the defective totes.
That tells you the order of work: open the two totes first, then approve the sneakers in one go.
Why the sneakers come back
Next, the bigger picture: “Which products had the most returns in the last 30 days, and why?” Trendyol’s returns carry the reason and the product size, and its orders show how many units you sold, so the AI can put the two side by side.
The Runner sneakers lead by far: 120 pairs sold in the last 30 days, 31 returned, about 26%. 19 of the 31 say “size too small”, 7 “didn’t like the model”, and the other 5 are spread over four reasons. 15 of the 19 small-size returns are sizes 41 and 42.
A size note in the description, or a size chart that says the model runs small, is a cheaper fix than another month of returns.
Questions before they close
Then the inbox: “Which customer questions are still waiting for an answer?” The AI lists the open ones with the product and the date each was asked.
14 questions are open. 5 were asked on Wednesday and Thursday and close soon if nobody answers. 8 are about the linen shirt: 6 ask whether it shrinks after washing, 2 ask about the length. The other 6 are about delivery times and colours.
What the AI can do on Trendyol
You can also have the AI act in the store, one step at a time: it describes each step, and you approve it before it runs.
- “Approve the six unworn sneaker returns.” You get the six items with order numbers and reasons, and they are approved only when you agree.
- “Answer the six questions about the linen shirt shrinking: 100% linen, wash at 30 °C, it keeps its size.” The AI writes the answer, shows it to you, and posts it after your go-ahead. Trendyol accepts answers from 10 to 2,000 characters.
- “Answer all five questions that close soon.” Each draft comes up separately, so you can fix one and skip another.
- “Set the stock of Runner sneakers size 42 to 30 pairs.” You see the barcode, the current stock and the new one before anything changes.
- “Lower the canvas tote to 349 TL.” The old and new price come first, and the AI checks Trendyol’s report afterwards to confirm the change went through.
Questions and answers
I'm not the store's master user. Can I still connect it?
Not on your own. Trendyol shows the seller ID, API Key and API Secret only to the master user of the seller panel. Ask that person to copy the three values, or to go through the connection steps with you.
Does the AI see what the customer wrote on the return?
Yes. Each returned item comes with the reason the customer picked and their note, if they left one. The reasons arrive in Turkish, as Trendyol stores them, and the AI translates them for you.
Can the AI reject a return?
Trendyol asks for photos or documents with almost every rejection reason. The AI can't attach your photos, so rejections stay with you in the seller panel. It can tell you which returns look worth rejecting and why.
Is there a limit on how much I can ask?
Trendyol allows up to 50 requests to the same method within 10 seconds. A normal day of questions stays far below that. A very large job, such as a year of returns, may take a little longer while the AI paces its requests.
What if Trendyol refuses one of the answers?
Trendyol checks every answer for forbidden words after it is sent. A refused answer goes back to waiting, and after several refused attempts the question closes for good. The AI tells you which answer was refused so you can reword it.
